These tests measure student achievement based on California English language proficiency standards.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to these tests, our school has also been administering the IReady Diagnostics published by Curriculum Associates.<\/p>\n<p>The\u202f<em>i-Ready Diagnostic<\/em>\u202fis\u202fa test\u202fdesigned\u202fto\u202fhelp teachers support each student and create a path of personalized\u202finstruction\u202ffor every learner.\u202fThe\u202fadaptive\u202ftest adjusts its questions to suit each student\u2019s needs. \u202fThe <em>i-Ready Diagnostic<\/em> gets harder until a student answers an item incorrectly and then narrows in on exactly where a student needs support. The Grades K\u201312 diagnostic testing assessments manifests a core belief that all students can grow and achieve grade-level expectations. Use these diagnostic assessment tools to help educators see where students are, set high\u2014but achievable\u2014expectations for growth, and connect the right instructional tools to help them get there.<\/p>\n<p>Our diagnostic evaluation prepares and equips teachers by delivering actionable data that addresses the first part of the learning process\u2014knowing exactly where each student is.\u00a0<em>i-Ready Diagnostic<\/em>\u00a0provides teachers with a complete picture of student performance relating to their grade level\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a0national norms. It also includes Lexile\u00ae and Quantile\u00ae information for insights into reading and mathematics performance.
