Located in the Richmond District in San Francisco, Bais Menachem Yeshiva Day School is adjacent to a wonderful city playground, which students enjoy during recess.

Our school is now in its fourteenth year, serving students in grades K – 8.

While the student body is made up of boys and girls, elementary-school grades are co-ed but middle school is separate.

We teach a rigorous, dual curriculum, consisting of both Judaic and secular studies: Hebrew Language and Biblical analysis and discussion comprise the mornings, while Common-Core- level academic classes comprise the afternoons.

Due to the growth of the student body, we have expanded and moved the Middle School to the educational wing of Congregation Chevra Thilim, a synagogue located two blocks from our existing facility.

Current enrollment is 50 students, averaging 7 per class, with most classes gender-balanced and larger class sizes in the younger grades.

BMYDS is San Francisco’s only Jewish day school that serves an orthodox community, stretching into the North Bay.

Our teaching staff is credentialed and experienced, employing innovative and traditional methodologies. We are fortunate to cull our Judaic teachers from the top Rabbis and Rebbetzins in the Bay Area. Our general studies staff are highly acclaimed and experienced educators.
