How do I apply?

Admission Process

Please schedule a tour of the school before submitting an application. Applications are available on our website at www.bmyds.org.

If you are applying for Kindergarten or 1st grade:
Student Evaluation Forms are available online after you submit an application. Please sign and give the form to your child’s current teacher. The teacher should return it to Bais Menachem as soon as possible but no later than March 1. This form can also be scanned and sent to us. A typeable PDF version is available on the ISSFBA website.

Children applying for kindergarten may be evaluated in a group setting at a playdate. Times will be set up and parents will be notified of the date.

Children applying for first grade will spend a full day at Bais Menachem. This will be scheduled after the March 1st deadline.

After your child’s group or classroom visit, you will be contacted regarding admission. Decisions will be emailed on March 30. Parents will be expected to respond by April 5.

If you are applying to grades 2-8:
